Remington reports $135.2 million loss for 2015
Not everything can be explained with a move!
Exactly! QC and killing Para didn't help.
Besides the cost to move in 2014, I did not see anything about the 700 trigger recall(cost).
I know that was(is) expensive.
They may have previously reserved for that issue.
Mismanagement, Lack of quality control, sacking new england and H&R destroying marlin the list goes on and on!
Remington lost sight of their business model and core competency years ago, and have been floundering around ever since with this "Outdoor Products/Lifestyle" BS. They were iron mongers - they built guns, and pretty good ones once upon a time. They need to dump all the BS and get back to basics.
They also need to either fire all their lawyers/shysters/mouthpieces without a clue
about their core industry or lock them all away in a soundproof room without an
air supply!! Come to think of it, that approach would work great for the
vermin in our legislature.
