Thinking about going up there at the end of the month and buying a couple of Kimbers. Had some questions so called them and keep getting the "Were closed" message. So maybe someone on here can answer these questions.

1. Can you purchase more than one gun at a time from them? I am thinking about buying 2 Kimbers.

2. Would it be worth it to buy the $600 ones as opposed to the $400 ones or can you get one for $400 that will clean up just as good as the $600?

3. If I bring them home, fire them and decide I dont like them would I be able to sell them? Is there a time limit or any other thing that might prevent me from selling them?

Nothing on their webstie FAQ's with answers to these questions.

Thanks

1. Yes
2. You can check it out there before you buy. Several people I know that purchased them only had a small amount of exterior rust on the "Rusty" ones.
3. They are your rifles once you buy them and the only pledge that you are making is that they are for your personal use and not purchased just for resale.
Cap03 and others have been up recently and should be able to add to this.

mikey67 is correct.

If you want to buy a "rusty", I would highly recommend going to Anniston, AL and take Captain or Doug with you. You might leave there with more than you bargained for.

You should try e-mailing CMP. They can be very difficult to get on the phone. I've always had better luck with e-mail myself.

1. Yes - you can buy as many as you want. The only limit that CMP has is they limit you to 12 Garand purchases per year.
2. NO - the $400 are as good as the $600 IF you go pick-it-out. Most (and I say most not all) of the $400 will have a razor cut (some pretty bad - others not so) on the stock. However, it does not take from the function of the rifle.
3. They belong to you ... you can do as you please with them to include selling them.

When you think you maybe going over. A couple of us are looking to go later this month.
