Some recent additions to the "Family"

My little clan has grown some lately.
Smith & Wesson Model 10-5. Knarly old shooter, currently resides under my seat, destined to be wife's HD gun:

Smith & Wesson 5906 9MM. Police trade, some flourescent orange paint on the dead night sights. This thing will outlive us all. Trying out the Uncle Mikes straight back grips.

Smith & Wesson CS9 9MM. I got this from Hrdknox, it will be my EDC when I get the holster situation resolved. Probably going to order a Super Tuck.

Smith & Wesson Model 36 J-frame. Bought this from forum member Mike Smith (Smith's Speed Shop) at last Jackson show. Pretty nice for an '81 model. Will factor into the carry equation somehow. Everyone needs a "J". 'Neck, just pretend the hammer is invisible.

And finally, just to prove that I'm not totally stuck on S & W, my Rock Island Tactical in Matte Nickle. Had a photo of her on here earlier, but I installed some Cocobolo's. Not sure I like the black MSH & grip-safety with the wood grips though. May change them to stainless.

I am pretty much finished with handguns for now. I have all that I "Need". Not that that ever stopped any of us. I think I need to add some long guns to the mix.

No, but guess what my two beagles are named? Hint: one starts with a "S" , the other with a "W". I'm loyal, if nothing else.

I would like that S&W model 10-5. What year is it?
1962, I think. Sorry, you can't have THAT one, but there are literally a million (or more) of them out there. Can't get much more classic than a 4" Smith .38 Wheel gun. Wasn't looking for one, but saw it at Billy Taylor's one day for $225. You know how the story ends...

One of these days I'll get the steelwool out and pretty her up some. Stocks are pretty nasty too.
