Just another day!
Word is that the gooberment is going to close trout season in MS waters. After opening the Bonnet Carre spillway to relieve the MS River, they are worried about overfishing in MS waters. Granted it does help our fishing a bit, but if everyone adheres to the limits, there shouldn't be a problem. Most people can go out and catch a MS limit with no problems as it stands. Keep in mind, you can still go to LA waters and catch your 25 12" trout limit. The last time it opened Breton Sound, Freemason, and all of Chandeluer were on fire. I just don't see the logic here. Maybe someone a lot smarter than I am can explain it to me.
