Stainless chips

I’ve been eyeing the southern shine stainless chips but wasn’t really thrilled over the price of them. So I went and searched out folks that actually make them. I successfully did so and had to buy 20# to get a “Deal” on them. I’m hoping these are more aggressive than the stainless pins I’ve had. While the pins were great for cleaning......I’m looking for something faster, that’s the idea behind the desire for the chips.
I’m starting this post as kind of a record of what I find with them and how well they work or do not.
For those that don’t know WTH I’m talking about........here’s some pictures.

Plant Cumin Guizotia abyssinica Parsley family Seed
Anchovy Fish Fish Foil Metal

1 1/8 oz of them in a 12 gauge and you would have something.

You definitely have the wheels turning now. I have plans for different kind of shells in the future so it would not be out of the question to pack a hull with some.
Bet they would tear a butt up. Bunch of sliver like pieces of metal buried to the huckle buck, LOL.

o_O Yep. It’s not my original intent for them I assure you. I also know how to load shells for the most part ;)
I have a feeling that with such odd projectile......range will be in feet measured in teens.
Ha, they might surprise you loaded in a shot cup. But even then I wouldn't expect over around 20 yards tops if that.

Maybe a glacier style round. Pins in wax or jello type substance to hold it together till it hits?

Do like Winchester does for their LongBeard turkey loads and squirt super glue in after they are dropped in shot cup. Breaks apart at forcing cone to act as the buffer. Tightest patterns I’ve ever shot have been those.
Maybe hot glue would be a cheap alternative.
