Definitely following this. Have 5# of the pins, like the whole concept of the chips but they do seem high for what I think is left over from a machining operation. Would not mind getting at least 10 lbs at half as much per pound as the regular pins and chips. Would make it easier to think about a larger capacity tumbler.
Stainless chips
I’ve been eyeing the southern shine stainless chips but wasn’t really thrilled over the price of them. So I went and searched out folks that actually make them. I successfully did so and had to buy 20# to get a “Deal” on them. I’m hoping these are more aggressive than the stainless pins I’ve had. While the pins were great for cleaning......I’m looking for something faster,that’s the idea behind the desire for the chips.
I’m starting this post as kind of a record of what I find with them and how well they work or do not.
