Great article and what a deer! Article said he shot it late in the afternoon, then waited 4 hours before they went to look for it. The picture was taken in the daylight, so I assume they waited til the next day for the pics? Just curious is all.

Yes, and I'm glad they did because the photos are so much better than a night-time image. I'm supposed to meet him on Monday to do a video interview, and will probably grab other photos he took to post as well.

Yeah, Hammer, the biologists aged it at 3 1/2 years old. I told Will that it would have REALLY been something if he'd have let him grow up! LOL

BTW, I held the antlers yesterday, and I couldn't believe how heavy they are. They weighed 15 to 20 pounds! I can't imagine carrying that around on my head for months.
