Yea, I have seen a couple of these type videos in the past. Actually tried to load some .223 and 7.62x39. Was not successful with the .223; however, I did get some 7.63x39 loaded AFTER extreme frustration .... with the availability of brass cases, it just is not worth the trouble ... IMHO.

+1 with Captain

and then there's always the argument about the steel being rougher on your gun...specifically the extractor....

extractors are cheap....however

Personally, I rarely shoot steel case anything....I just don't like the stuff

I shoot a lot of Wolf, and once that stuff is fired, the case starts to rust and break down pretty darn fast. I'd think that would weaken it too much to suit me. But, I haven't tried it, so it's just an assumption on my part.

You guys are on target. Steel cases are hell on extractors. Unfortunately I know from first hand experience. I've been thinking about having a Sako style extractor installed on my 700 just to eliminate the chances of ever breaking another one.
