These were used as training rifles during the Second World War.
These are not as common as the Remington 513-T or Mossberg M44 trainers.
This is the only one I had ever seen & when it came up for sale, I grabbed it.
I had it out to my range & it shot well as I was adjusting the sights.
I managed to get it sighted to 50 yards when the rains came.
I will walk it out to 100 yards next chance I get.
That's a beautiful gun. :drool: I love the old 22's. That's what I started out collecting. I've still got a few dozen. Stevens also made this gun for Sears and it was sold as the "Ranger". Mine has different sights.
