I don't think it is safe in all of them, but I don't know. YOu wouls just have to go by the manufacturer's reccomendation. If it is, then I would assume you could use the .454 casull and maybe the .460 S&W.
if it was designed to shoot 45/70 i would think it could handle lesser rounds also.. could you imagine 410 buckshot, 45lc, 45-70 being slung at you! a true street sweeper
NOw a days I would prefer an MD Arms 20 rnd drum on a saiga 12 guage. They made the street sweeper a class III, but the saiga is legal holds more rounds and can be reloaded a hunred times faster.
The ad says it is classified as a pistol and therefore not a destructive device.
If that is the case, you should be able to legally SBS it! I would want a stock shooting that thing.
