I need a new set of rings and bases for my Encore. I have the Leupold, but the bases keep coming loose. The Tally's look like a good design and the review look good on the sites. Anybody else using them..

I have a set on a 308 savage I got in a trade with Tombomb. The rings and base are well made but the mounting screw are crap made of soft steel and too short. I was having problem with the rifle grouping so I started checking things come to find out the screws were to short and only setting in the mounting hole about a tread deep and would back out after a few shots. I tried some locktite but they still backed out I finally made a trip to the hardware store bought some longer tourqe screws and the problem was fixed now the rifle will shoot five shots under an inch all day with hornady 165's

this is were i buy my encore barrels.. they sell a base ring combo called T'SOB(T stands for tuff..i think you know the rest) they use three rings vs the traditional two and are similar in price to gamereapers
