Hey Gale, "Tangi" is short for Tangipahoa Practical Shooters, a USPSA affiliated club that holds matches on the fourth and fifth Sunday of every month at the Tangipahoa Sheriff's Range in Amite, La. Registration opens at 8:00 AM with Hammer Down at 9:00 AM.

I disagree with their map to the range though. You take S. Laurel St. until it deadends. Then you take a left onto I believe Storey Rd. and go almost to the end of it. On the left you will see a gate and sign for the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Range. Note from the match results that they haven't shot much this year. The Sheriff did some dirt work that has greatly hindered their ability to have matches after it rains. This weekend should be dry and good to go, but probably a good idea to email Robert on the link provided and get on their mailing list so that you will know when matches are cancelled. Robert does a good job of sending out emails in that regard.
