I wonder if we could use them at Neck's place at the night shoot. No idea how close he has neighbors to worry about and such. It's going to sound like a war anyways, why not add a few explosions?

I've made my own for a ton cheaper, works great and is quite entertaining. I will find the recipe if you want it I have it somewhere in my gun room :thumbup:

oh btw, it has to be a high powered rifle round to make them explode. Pistol rounds or .22 won't set it off, .223 or bigger works great for them

We have shot them at Neck's before, don't know about at night though. Need to check with him.

If Neck is game I might want a couple. Are they as good as the Tannerite's? I'm ashamed to say that I don't even have a rifle that would set one of these off. I've got one in my crosshairs but it will be a little while before I can bring it home.

I heard and felt the concussions from them at the meet and greet, but was on the pistol range and didnt get to see them go off.

As far as i know they are the same chemical composition as tannerite and give the same results.

I don't know the exact recipe but you'll need aluminum and/or magnesium powder (buy online) and ammonium nitrate. I'm sure there are lots of ways to make it but just remember: DO NOT STORE OR TRANSPORT AFTER YOU'VE MIXED THE INGREDIENTS. ONLY MIX ON SITE. I'd hate for some of you guys to end up in federal prison.

Never tried making it but it doesn't seem to be that complicated at all.

95% AN 5% AL by weight

AN = Ammonium Nitrate
AL = ALUMINUM POWDER
