Team Magnolia ICORE Match
Saturday or Sunday, May 7th or 8th
Classic - 6 shot revolver with speed loaders (no moon clips)
Limited 6 - 6 shot with moon clips
Limited - more than 6 shots but no comps or dots
Open - revolver with a comp or dot
Rimfire - revolver and semi divisions will be recognized

Setup: 6:30 A.M. Please be punctual.

Match fee waived for first 10 people to show up at 6:30 to set up.

Registration/Check-In closes promptly at 8:30 A.M (earlier if the stages are built).
Late arrivals will be turned away.
Hammer down: 9:00 A.M. (earlier if the stages are built)

Cost:
Team Magnolia and juniors: $15
Non-members: $25
You can sign up for Team Magnolia at the match for $30.
If you shoot at least 3 matches you break even. That’s any Team Magnolia ICORE, USPSA, and 3Gun.

Stage 1 - Squat and Watch

Stage Make Ready
Sitting in chair, pistol loaded and holstered. Hands on knees. Back touching back of chair.

Stage Procedure
Engage targets from within the fault lines.
Stage 2 - Get Low
10 Steel


Stage Make Ready
Standing outside of shooting area, toes on X’s, hands at surrender.
Gun loaded in holster.

Stage Procedure
The shooting area around the wall is an option if you do not want to get low.

  • Popper on left pulls cable which activates plate rack to spin
  • The left popper must be knocked down before the plate rack is engaged
  • If you don’t get low, you have to run around - no ducking under the wall to get to the shooting box
Stage 3 - Dirty Sanchez

Stage Make Ready
Standing on X’s, pistol loaded and holstered.
Hands relaxed at sides.

Stage Procedure
Stomp boxes are the only shooting area.
Each shot taken not completely on the shooting box will incur a penalty.
Mandatory reload between boxes.

  • Stomp boxes activate clam trap and drop turn.
  • Clam trap activates swinger.
Stage 4 - Stomp It

Stage Make Ready
Standing anywhere touching rear fault line, pistol loaded and holstered. Hands at surrender.

Stage Procedure
Step in and engage targets from within the fault lines.

If the knock-off steel plates spin 90 degrees after being shot but does not fall off, have the nook RO take note of shooter’s position. Looking from where the shooter was engaging the plate, if less than 50% of the area of the plate is visible, it will be counted as a hit.

I have become aware of concerns about the amount of building in these stages. So I did a little redesign to cut out some of the work but still keep the intent the same. I know Rick will appreciate me getting rid of walls.


Stage 1 - Squat and Watch
4 paper
13 steel

Stage Make Ready
Sitting in chair, hands on knees, back touching back of chair.
Gun unloaded, slide forward/cylinder closed, all ammo on table.

Stage Procedure
Engage targets from within the fault lines.
  • Paper targets in the center are engaged from the shooting box​
  • Paper and popper are engaged from outer edges of wall​
  • Star and plate racks are engaged from the port​




Stage 2 - Get Low

Gun loaded in holster.
