Stage 3 - 2 & 1 Standards
2 Paper, 15 shots each

Stage Description
  • This is a standards stage. The objective is to get the hits within the par time.
  • Par time is 4 seconds for each run on both relays
  • Neutralization:
    • For a body hit, you must get an Alpha
    • For a head hit, you must get an Alpha or Bravo
  • Penalties:
    • There should be ten shots in the center mass alpha and 5 shots in the head of both targets. If you do not meet that total, you will get a “miss” for each shot missing from the total.
    • There is a 5 second penalty for each miss.
      • This means that a Charlie hit in the body would be a miss.
    • There is a 5 second penalty for each over-time shot.
  • Score:
    • There is a 40 second total par time for the stage and then your penalties are added to that to calculate your total time
Stage Procedure
Only half of the squad shoots at a time. The non-shooters are standing around to ensure shooters start at the signal and to observe any over-time shots.

First Relay:
  • Rifle loaded, on safe, at low ready, standing behind further shooting line
  • Upon start signal, engage the lower target with 2 to the body, one to the head
  • Repeat 5 times for a total of 15 shots, ten to the body, 5 to the head
Second Relay:
  • Pistol loaded and holstered or on barrel, standing behind closer shooting line, hands at surrender
  • Upon start signal, engage the upper target with 2 to the body, one to the head
  • Repeat 5 times for a total of 15 shots, ten to the body, 5 to the head
Stage 4 - Back That Thang Up

  • Pistol loaded and holstered
  • Rifle loaded and on safe, in either dump barrel
  • Toes on X’s, hands at surrender
Stage Procedure
  • Complete course of fire with pistol
  • Pistol is dumped in box
  • Rifle is retrieved from the barrel
  • All paper is engaged again with rifle
HEADS UP - better be careful backin that thang up -
you will get that thang disqualified if you break the 180

Awesome! I have family in town, hopefully I can be convincing enough to join us, so I can still shoot, but we shall see.

Everybody bring at least two rifle mags and two pistol mags and a way to carry them! (pockets are fine)

Kinda self-explanatory when stage 4 required 30 shots with a pistol, but I just wanted everybody to be ready for a reload with a rifle too (maybe a surprise!)
