I think you are right about this deer being 3, probably would not have taken him if i had seen him, we are trying to shoot bucks that are at least 4 yrs old, I took one in this same bottom last year that had a 21" spread with 24" main beams, with 5" bases, he was big, old and dark, and following dainty little doe, that .35 did a job on him and my right eye brow, shooting real awkward and paid the price, funny how you never notice 2 blood trails til you have your hands on the buck
