The Pearce grip looks and feels really good. Think I'm gonna order a few more.....

Pearce were popular back in the day. Nice to see they survived the lockdowns.

@Twang Is the curved grip (frame) more comfortable than adding a bobtail mainspring housing to a standard 1911? I'm just curious, because it looks like it may make it a lot easier to maintain a high grip on the gun.

I've never shot a bobtail 1911 to compare . . . although I do prefer a flat mainspring housing on the original M1911, to the arched one on the M1911A-1. Everytime I shoot one with the arched mainspring housing, it seems like I'm always hitting high. This CZ75 clone is really comfortable to hold (haven't shot it yet). It looks very similar to the grip on a Hi-Power. To me, the most comfortable shooting handgun I've shot is a Beretta 92FS. That handgun just fits my hand great and feels really good to my hand.
After seeing your post, I did some research and got interested in the brand. I found quite a few SAR-9's at USA pawn during lunch. A barely used one in original box with all accessories followed me home. I'll try it out this weekend and see if it's a keeper. It don't look nearly as purdy as your SAR2000. It's just black on black.

 I work at Whitfield and they frown upon me carrying pistols to my desk. I'll put a couple up after work.

Awesome. Anxious to find out how it does.

I just ordered a Tisas PX9 Gen 3. I'm waiting for it to come in before going to the range, so I can shoot both it and the SAR on the same trip.
I think USA pawn had a new one in the case at Pearl today.
@Rommerdale that is a nice setup, how much was it? You said you got it a USA pawn?
Well, that's gonna make it a little harder to flip @Gulfport Joe! 3 hundo out the door. These pistols are cheap...just like me! If it does well, I plan to get the SAR-K12 Sport.

Now that's a fine looking pistol . . .

It's kinda flashy and the dovetail work on the magwell could be a lot better, BUT if that mother drives tacks... who cares what it looks like? And that's half a word!

Got my gun crack! SAR 9 Arminius short stoke trigger, stainless guide rod, safety delete and bench block. All from Galloway Precision. First impression...Not too impressed, considering it all was 1/3 the cost of the pistol. Straight away, the trigger install video on the Galloway website was sub amateur at the VERY best. The pin for the trigger was a b!/(h to put in. The guy didn't seem too concerned or interested in doing the video. I eventually made it through the crappy video and the trigger seems a little sticky. Not to the touch, but to the travel. Maybe it needs some range time to show it who's boss, but dry fire sucks at the moment. If that doesn't work, I've got some graphite that will surely make it less of a drag. I got the 15lb recoil spring so I could play with some puff loads. The spring doesn't reliably bring it to lockup. I'll probably order a 16 and 17 to see if they work better. But it dang sure racks a whole lot easier! I was wearing myself out with the stock setup, which is around 19lbs. Gonna push 50 or so light rds through it at the indoor range (don't tell 'em!) tomorrow and see how it does. Yes, I'm picking up my damn brass!!...till they catch me... Range report forthcoming.

Got a set of Forster 7mm Weatherby Mag dies from Midway today. I ordered them on Friday at 8:05pm. I don't recall ever ordering anything from Midway, but that shipping IS IMPRESSIVE!

I can finally do something with all my 7mm Weatherby Mag brass (and other magnums too). The Dillon "B" shellplate, aka 338 Remington conversion kit arrived before the tornados. Good for a pretty long list of cartridges and sure beats the old #1 I modified to use while I waited.

Awe Yeah! My Montana buddy dropped a hundo shipping me a bunch of 30-06 brass, 7mm bullets, .277 bullets and 270 brass. He says it's all worthless up there and I'm glad it is! Also, he inadvertently tested his ability to ship primers (box was packed with bullets).
I was amazed that box hadn't been molested. He'll be getting a few steaks in the mail.

My mailman from Montana paid me a visit yesterday. Along with 2k bullets, old Outers Foul Out system and homemade peach jam and salsa, he gave me his old stockless M77 .270 he's had for 40 years. The bluing is still beautiful on it. I ordered a Boyds stock for it yesterday and can't wait to put it together with my stepson and take him to shoot it.

Anderson lower. Complete. Upper is Mammoth arms whomever that is. It’s basically the same gun as the complete Anderson for a lot less. If come to laurel swing by, as long as not nap time lol.
And ESPECIALLY dirt nap time!
Can't say who delivered it, but it's mines now! Total of 7 rounds through this baby and one was at the factory and in the box. I guess the lightweight scandium was not a good fit for previous owner. Might not be for me either, but I'm willing to take my chances!

My Grandpa chair, lol. Wish I’d bought before I started having these surgeries.

I delivered one exactly like this to my neighbor yesterday. It was my Mom's, but she didn't survive cancer long enough to use it. My neighbor just had a triple bypass and his wife thought he might need one. Nice lift chair for sure.

Trust me, they could fill a bike seat with puffy clouds, nothing is easy to sit on till you do it 3 days straight. After that, you can go 700mi a day. It does look comfortable though.
@onlymaroonmatters did @Ellis93 make those grips? They look great .
If he did, I need something like this for my .460!
