I had an alcohol induced moment of weakness about 2 months ago and decided I needed something a little more “subtle” to carry at work. Just so happened I saw Benchmade announced a limited edition version of their slipjoint, the Proper, so I pre-ordered it and waited. It finally showed up today.

My only complaint is for the price, the scales should be checkered, but it’s not a defensive knife, so not as important really. Just would’ve been a nice touch.

Yeah little steep for work knife. But it's a bemchmade. Really like the blade profile.

Will definitely post one once I’ve made a proper range trip. I put about 120~ through it this afternoon. Nice deep quiet thud from the 22/45 and Walther p22. From the 10/22 all you can hear is action and impact. A few supers slipped in and they were obnoxious(compared to the standards/subs) downrange, but still super quiet at the ear.

It came with 7 baffles installed(including steel blast baffle), once I got back home from shooting I added the 3 extras. Still well under 3 ounces, so I’ll probably stick to the long configuration.

Cahill(the GSD) usually has very good firearms safety etiquette, but the quietness and the millions of lovebugs had him not understanding the severity of the situation. I wound up making him lay at my feet while I tested it.

Awesome. Have to get you a buffer for the 10/22. Put one on mine and helps a little. Put it on a bolt 22 and it will really impress you

How are you liking the A3? It’s high up my short list

Love it. Real smooth shooter and suppresses well. Also recommend this holster. Was one of 2 or three for APL combo but was around 70 bucks. The others were 100 and 150 ish. Locks up real tight but is easy to draw and comes with clips to run it IWB. And from purchase to delivery it was like a week and a half, not month and a half.

Haha surely could've kept these as not too expensive. Got to try and get all I need/want before it does though cause then it's all but cut off lol. Why I've done as much collecting as I could up until now. Only 6 left on my list.
