The Target Thread

Nice groups guys.

No target picture here, but Last week I was going to the range, and made up some home made
splatter type targets, courtesy of the internet super highway.
They weren't perfect, but they worked.

Needed: brightly colored construction paper
Clear shipping tape
Cheap black paint

Cover the paper with the tape, then apply the black paint.
Oh yeah, paint a target dot on the black surface with white, or other paint.

Actually it worked pretty good.

Great idea for a thread. Hope to get some up here soon. Mine aren't all fancy like the bowls though. Looks like some shooters here so far

LOL, I'll recycle just about anything for targets.

I also enjoy seeing the different targets and the firearms that shot them. You'll have to get some up of your TISAS when you get it back.

In all fairness, the archery pics are my son's at 20 & 25 yards

You guys keep it up and I'm going to have to break out a couple rifles of mine.

Not to hijack your thread, but I got a question. My .45-70 is fine, but we were also trying to zero my son's. It has a Centerpoint 4x16x40 scope, and it was about 2" high at 25 yards. At 50 yards, it was hitting close to 7" high, and at 100 yards, it wasn't hitting the target at all. Any ideas?

Sounds like the front bell of the scope is touching.

Hey never said I was good, just like to practice and see what others can do.
