Time to anneal. Google salt bath annealing or just rotate the brass in front of a propane torch with a gloved hand.
They were loaded in the 70's and have been in two floods. Seemed to shoot ok and no misfires. I'm just culling the old stuff and will probably pull the bullets and powder on the rest and toss the primed brass.

Got real lucky on this one. That would have ended the day prematurely with the front of the case stuck in the chamber. View attachment 322460
Buy a stuck case remover. I keep one on me at all times for my 308’s. Brittle brass time to anneal. I usually get loose primer pockets or rings at the base before case separation. So if I see one I run a paper clip inside and if I feel the ridge where the ring is I toss em. But Eric says “if your getting more than 3 loads off a case, you have week loads”
