Having it converted to 5 shot 357 and some other stuff. He said it will be his first 357 on a Single Six frame.
    I guess you're right.

    ME?
Better take a few photos of that old 22 to remember it by, when it comes home it'll look much different. And remember,
    It's only money!
What he can do with an old 22 Ruger,

    I think i will too.

I may have him flattop it if he can and still use the Millet sight.

You guys gotta stop. I didn't know it was possible to have Ruger 357 single action on a small frame. I needs me one them. I wonder if there's enough room to get 5 44 specials in that cylinder?

Something else to spend money on.... Thanks a lot.

According to Alan, the 41 special is the biggest he could put in the single six platform, the Birdshead is a 41 special,5 shot.
The single six makes an awesome custom. I want one more in 327/32-20 and one more in a 25 caliber and one more.....

One in .32-20 would be awesome.

Yes it would, the drift sight one above is a 327. It's going to be hard to wipe the grin of Joes face when he gets that 357!

He would know. He is the only one that was willing to do a 357...

I'm almost certain I don't want to know but, what does he charge for a caliber conversion? Any idea on expected lead time?

Is the single six stout enough to handle long-term 357 usage?

He said no problem. And being a 5 shot, i should have more meat between chambers than my midframe Blackhawks.

Awesome! That may be the most useful single action revolver ever conceived. I'm putting that on my wish list! I'm sure you'll thoroughly enjoy it.

I think i will too. I considered a big bore, or 44 mag or special, or 45 Colt, but i finally decided on a 357 because i enjoy that caliber so much.

And i wanted something you couldnt buy. With the release of the new model flattops in 44 spl and 45, i decided i could buy one of those and do an action job and get close enough for now. Then there's the new 5 shot 454 or 480, so there's my big bore...

I was even half tempted to send it to Ruger first to have the safety conversion done on it so i can carry 5 rounds instead of 4, but i doubt i'll do that because i am anti safety conversion in an old model.
