Shooters,

We have decided to add the rimfire division to all of our matches. Both rimfire rifles and pistols. It is an officially recognized division in 3Gun Nation and you can even earn a classification in it.

The only thing we have to different than SOP is that we will have to paint the steel first thing when the squad arrives to the stage. Then the rimfire shooters will shoot first so we can easily call hits. Steel does not have to fall to score if shooting rimfire. But, it is on the shooter to be confident in their hits, because if there is no discernible hits on the target the shooter will be assessed penalties.

I hope this will encourage new shooters and hopefully bring out more juniors as well!

Shooters,

We are going to have a shotgun demo after all the stages are put away. The purpose of this is for our shooters who are in the market for a shotgun can put their hands on as many as possible before they buy one.

So if you have a competition shotgun please bring it, and if you're in the market to buy a shotgun, bring some ammo to run through the guns!

I believe there might be a few for sale too and you will have the opportunity to handle, inspect, and test those if you are interested in buying one immediately.

THIS WILL ALSO BE A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO TRY DIFFERENT SHELL CADDIES TOO! We need to give everybody a chance to handle them all too so people can decide which one to buy. If you have some caddies and can stick around a few minutes I'm sure there are many people who would appreciate it.

If anybody has any questions, post em up.

I have been asked a couple times for the round counts for this weekend's match, so here it is.

It is fully detailed but in my opinion it's still very self explanatory. If you want to make it easy on yourself just look at the right side of the photo. Please understand that "minimum" means just that.

Remember, this is still a 2Gun match, so SHOTGUN IS OPTIONAL! I am providing the numbers for those of us who want to shoot shotguns. Ignore those numbers if you aren't shooting 3Guns.

There are only steel and paper targets, so 2Gun (rifle/pistol) or PCC only is FINE.

All five stages are built with the exception of the steel targets.

I'd like to see the locals arriving around 7 to help with the steel and stapling the paper up. We need to take care of that, check in with Brooke, and then get our gear ready so we are out of the way for the people that had to drive far.

Out of towners need to be there by 8 so you have time to check in and pay Brooke and then get all of your gear ready before the 830 shooters' meeting.

If you aren't checked in by 830, I'm sorry.

If y'all follow these timelines we won't have any problem starting on time and maybe even be able to start a little early!
