Negative, it's just about 6' high on a tree looking slightly downward.

I'm hoping my 7 year old will be ready to take his .243 this year. If he is, I'm going to try my best to get him one of these, or any deer for that matter.

good luck! i was 7 when i killed my first deer. dad took an old wooden stock and camoed it out and cut it down to fit me and put a bolt in it. the he drilled a hole in the board across the bottom of the window of our stand so i could anchor the gun to the stand and move it however i needed to but it couldnt kick me :fight1:

also if he cant focus on a regular scope try a pro point

You know I sent Ree a pm thanking her for the idea. My son has been having a hard time with his new scope I bought for his little Rossi. I have a dadgum red dot for sale on this site! I just never thought about it. It's now on the gun, and we're going shooting tomorrow. Thanks again Ree. Hopefully I'll have some pics of a 7 year old with his first deer come the first of November.
