In memory of Veteran's Day, I took a couple WWII Vets to the range -- we had a ball -- I feed them good - Good 'Ol LC 69!!

The first to show his stuff was and old 1941 Winchester that I brought back to life at the end of last year. I decided to treat him right and brought along his parade bayonet and feed him nickel plated brass using chrome clips!!

His partner today was a 1943 Springfield M1903A3.

Beautiful weapons Captain. CMP?
Thanks - the '03A3 is just as it came from CMP. The Winchester was a build from parts. Purchased the receiver from CMP couple years back. Accumulated a couple set of parts over the years. Reparked everything, new stock and barrel.

Yeah... Yeah... The Garand & 03 are nice. But what I want to know is..... Where did you get CHROME clips? Me want some ! ! !

Cap, NICE WWII vets. You fed them well. NOW, keep them warm during the Winter and let them "strut their stuff" in Hi-Power matches next year..................
