All depends on the quality and dimensions of the lower. I am thinking the "drill one hole" would be the hammer pin hole, as airsoft use electronics.

I'm skeptical! Why would anyone spend $1100 on a gun that won't work for many rounds, when they can spend much less for anything they want? Easy enough to buy real guns!

The media and our government have this idea that criminals won't just steal guns or buy illegal guns to carry out their plans.

I don't think I would want to "test" it!! 50,000psi is a lot of pressure if not strong enough ... would not be a good day!!

I'm thinking the same thing Capt., why would anyone wanna spend all that on something that would crap out after a few rounds...throw away? Not when you can still get the templates and build something like a Sten for a lot less bucks.

I think it's a big over-reaction myself...I sure as hell wouldn't squeeze the trigger on one of those 'conversions'.

Anyone with sufficient knowledge and skill to make this "conversion" is probably going to either make a better weapon themselves or, more likely, break a car window and get a much superior weapon at zero cost.

I will say this...I view someone pointing a "toy" gun at me almost as negatively as I would a real one....They might just get capped....

Ok, holding a background in engineering and SOME knowledge of firearms, converting an airsoft weapon to a working firearm is not only absurd, its STUPID! I mean, firearms are expertly designed to handle the extreme pressures and temperatures of shooting. Airsoft guns are little more than die-cast replicas with little or no thought given the internal structural integrity. Airsoft, being pneumatic for high-end versions, have only a fraction of the internal pressures and stress of a real firearm. Long story short; anyone dumb enough to do this would likely kill themselves.

Second, if it were possible, WHY TELL PEOPLE HOW TO DO IT??? I mean, if you want to STOP people from doing it, why tell everybody and his brother about it? Eventually, some fool is gonna try it. I propose we press charges against the media for "dissemenation of terrorist training documents"

If I wanted to make a gun, Ill stick with a potato gun!
