In your training regiment, how much should be dedicated to "stronghand only" and "weakhand" only training. What percentage of matches or shots at a match would be of this style versus "freestyle" or 2-handed hold. I need more practice with weakhand myself, but was curious what yall thought about this.

I shoot strong/off hand every time I step on the range. Also, when I dry-fire, same thing. We see enough of it in USPSA and ICORE for it to matter. I work on it a little at a time so it doesn't surprise me when it pops up in match. It's just another course of fire.

i think with just a little more practice, I'll be up to par with stronghand. I practiced shooting from cover weak hand the other day and it was some respectable target scores. only thing was that I had to use a little bit of a "ghetto tilt" to get the right feel for shooting weakhand.

Your gun should always tilt in to the strong side. And you should address the targets from the side you are shooting from first...meaning if you are shooting left handed shoot them left to right. right handed shoot right to left. That way you arent fighting recoil. I also lay my strong hand on my weakside chest and help support my weak arm.
