+1. BigD could build that. Don't look a whole lot different from the one I had him build me. That's a nice pattern.

the butt pommel. and choil come to mind....

the choil looks cool but there is a reason you don't see it on any of Big D's knives and very few of mine you lose edge length

I'm with Hammer and the others...Big D and Bobby Howard {another local forger} could and have made blades that would put that Busse to shame.

I own knives by both and the Busse cannot compare. Owned one Busse...once.

No doubt you can too Evan, I just don't own one of yours yet...

You won't be disappointed, 'Neck. That looks just like the one BigD made for me, take off a couple of things and add some others and you got the same knife with a better blade. We sat down and went over what I wanted and he told me some things I hadn't thought of. When I picked it up, it was exactly the way he drew it up. 100% satisfied customer. And the sheathes he makes are 2nd to none.
