Southwest Gun Club will have it's next F-Class on the 27th of March
at Bogue Chitto. All of the info is on a earlier post for February or e-mail me ([email protected])and I will be glad to forward it to you. We had a good turn out last month and the team match was enjoyed by everyone that participated. All of you highpower and position shooters come on out and join us we have a class that we started last year and we hang conventional MR-1 600 yard targets for you so you don't have to compete against the scope shooters.

My buddy and me are planning on coming to your match , but we have rifles ( M1A's ) that we have never shot in a F-Class match . We have just recently installed scopes and really don't know what we are doing . How hard are ya'll going to be on us ? Any slack at all ?

Great Ron we are always glad to have new shooters.
I'm going to warn you it is ADDICTIVE.
We won't be hard at all. You will have a good time.
We have a good group of shooters that are always glad to help.
To help it be more enjoyable for you make sure you have a good 100 yard zero on your rifle, and that your scope has enough adjustment to come up 15 MOA to get you out to 600 yards.
On most 308 rounds this will get you on paper for your first shot.
We have sighter shots before you start scoring so you will be able to adjust to get you in the center once you find out where you are.

at [email protected] that way I can go ahead and get you pre registered and squaded. Also if you can get there a little earlly I will go over the course of fire and scoring with you.

Thanks for the reply . I have my rifle on at 300yds. about how much more elev. do you think I need to get on paper for the 600yd. It is 1/4 in MOA. at 100yd.

What bullet are you shooting Ron?
Most of the time it is between 10 to 12 MOA from
a 300 yard zero depending on the bullet and velocity.
