I can't wait until that opens back up.
Thanks a million SGF!! The pictures are GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice pictures, SGF it helps with wrapping my mind around it.
Working on drainage today - next two big steps include seeding of the berms and ranges and hauling and spreading of the limestone for the roads and parking pads.
Limestone for roads and parking pads being delivered today -- estimated around 800 tons!!
Hydro mulch I assume?
Berms will be hydro-seeded and ranges will be seed broadcast, all with blown hay cover. That should be underway next week after all the limestone is spread and graded.
This is looking great. I can appreciate the amount of work involved from my construction days. I know how much this cost. Your contractor is doing a great job but he's either hungry, broke, or can't figure an estimate, even up here nobody would have touched it for that price.
Thanks for the pics SGF. Looking good BOD!
Holey moley guys, this is no small cosmetic change, this is nothing short of remanufacturing the range. I'm sure impressed as the rest of the membership
should be as well, sure want to see it once the
seeding shows progress.
I drive by the range everyday going to and form work, I have seen the work from the road only. Thanks for sharing the pictures. It is going to be very nice once all work is done. I am excited to put the new ranges to use.
I can't wait to be able to shoot on these. The work that has been done looks amazing!
amiles87 -- Thanks for the pictures!!
Update: As you can see above the limestone was been spread and packed. Racking and seeding to begin tomorrow (10/3/17) if all goes well. We are a little behind due the rains in late Aug early Sep.
BTW: We wish to extend to the membership a big Thanks for putting up with the inconvenience. I believe you will find it worth the waiting.
Good job guys! Almost makes me miss being a member there.
Berm hydro-seeding has began .... there maybe times when ranges 4 & 5 will have to be closed for awhile as we are drawing water from the "pond" located behind the impact berm on range 6. Getting closer by the day!!
Hoping for calm wind and light rain
All berms and ranges seeded and hay blown. Maybe a couple light/moderate rains over the next couple days will get it off to a good start ......
Any idea when the new ranges will open up for use?
The BOD canceled all matches until January 2018. That might be a hint when the new ranges will open.
