We had a meeting at shoneys in Clinton last Saturday to discuss the new land site in Copiah County. We are sending letters to area residents to see if we are going to ruffle any feathers and cause us problems. Next week when my schedule relaxes I will get in touch with the district supervisor to get the steps detailed.

I'm trying to get our NRA range development rep scheduled to look at the property.

I've sent a letter to Sen Wicker to see about Pittman Robertson Act funds, these are the excise tax funds on firearms and ammunition. With the madness buying, it's ballooned to a large amount. See what's going on in Ohio http://www.mydaytondailynews.com/news/news/state-regional-govt-politics/state-to-spend-millions-sprucing-up-shooting-range/nX7K6/

As mentioned elsewhere, Camp Shelby may become a reality.
