I'll investigate the possibility of hosting.

Maybe some others can too in case I can't work it out.

I've got a decent candidate for property on my dad's cow patch. It's about 120 acres of open land with lots of elevation variability so it's easy to set up spots to shoot. Might even be able to swing a 500-600 yard range if I can figure out how to situate it. With the elevation changes it would remind you a lot of MSredneck's place, but without the trees.

I'm thinking late March or early April?

How about it, y'all?

Thanks for all the feedback, guys.

I'll get started shortly - the first decent day I have when I get off at 4 and not at 6 like here lately - scouting around on the place to see how I can situate at least 3 ranges that are in close proximity. See if I can work something out like the shooting lines for the 3 as the hub of a wheel and the direction of fire going out like spokes.

Thinking of probably a 100 yard rifle (and long range pistol if anyone so desires) range, a 200 to 500 long range if I can swing it, and a 25-50 pistol range. It wouldn't be hard to do if you scattered them out all over the place, but I'm trying to keep them conveniently located to each other.

I'd hate to have someone walk up to the pistol line and ask, "Where's the rifle range?", and have to tell them, "Oh, it's a quarter mile thattaway....".
