What did you use? I've got lil gun that I'm never going to use.
Using H110. Trying to get a little lighter bullet than 220 to go sub. Have read it done but using accurate1680. Which will be easier to just get that than whole new pile of bullets. Man appreciate it. But on opposite ends of state

It's been forever since I loaded BLK, forgot that was my super load and explains why I have 110 and 1680 here. I was throwing 195gr Hornady at 1088 but decided that was useless and went back to 220gr.
I just have like 1.2 million 175gr and use them for just plinking and was gonna try and get them sub so can get most out of my can. Worst come to worst I'll just get one other kind of powder just for subs.

I know that feeling. That's why I keep either Unique or 700X. With those, I can load everything that I reload for (12 & 20 ga, .38 & .357, .44 Spl & Mag)
Yeah I'd be same way. And I just reload for one caliber. For now lol

Well tested a couple of two different loads I made. No catastrophic failure so guess that's good lol. Cycled bolt and ejected but didn't lock open on empty mag. Only loaded one at a time. Shot without ear pro but tough to tell if subsonic cause was on short range. Got to run them through a chrono to really tell.
10.0gr H110 with 175gr BTHP at 2.2"
10.5gr H110 with 175gr BTHP at 2.2"

Want to step up a little to see if can get a BHO and still be sub

Well just sat down and tallied my chrono results and entered them in my spreadsheet. I think I will be able to get what I have to work based on the data. Had 2/5 rounds not get picked up but I'm hoping with the can attached and added back pressure that won't be an issue. Going to load enough for a couple of mags with the 175s and 180s then plan a trip to modern outfitters to test them with can attached. Thanks again sodiepopkid!

Was able to add another 200 to my bucket tonight. Good productive day must say. Trying to hurry up and use all my powder so I'll know how much to buy at Randy's next weekend :)
Product Ammunition Gun accessory Metal

FYI 500 rnds of 300bo at 2.2" COAL fit just right in a 42.5oz coffee bucket. Heavy though at 24#

I don't know how the 300 Blkout shoots but thats one bad looking round though.
I really like it. These won't have much to them since subs. Just for plinking with no ear pro and to show that it's Hollywood quiet. Now my full loaded Barnes TAC TX rounds will hurt ya.

Y'all need to help me get in to the load/reload hobby! Complete newbee.

Especially for as much ammo as I spend/shoot weekly!
It's addictive. And fun. And relaxing, for most part. I kept saying I was going to and kept putting it off. Then after a few years I finally decided to start and wish I would have long ago. Once get hang of it and sequences down and get in a rhythm it's not hard at all.

Thanks for your encouragement!

I shoot at a public/private range (where I am a dues-paying member) ... would I be able to just "collect" and take my brass for reloading purposes later?
Don't see why not. I've shot at modern outfitters indoor range and they have signs saying brass is to be swept down grate cause considered hazardous. I figured out how to shoot were brass stayed on the table. What's on table still considered mine and I policed all I could. Unless they are super strict about policing brass and have an agent out watching you, pick that $h!t up all you want
