Loaded some 45ACP, tested them today. After lunch going to start loading them up. Will post a picture later.

300- 45acp 230gr plated
55gr Z-Max retesting
69gr Match Kings retesting

Retesting the 223 rounds as now all my AR's are 1-7 twist.

Loaded some 55 and 69gr holler points to test and some 55gr Z-Max.

BasMstr, did you clean your dies when you got them? If so check the crimp stem and make sure you put it in the right way.

Got out to the range today to test some 45acp 230gr XTP's.

VV N340 1.250 OAL Colt 1911 5" Gov model
Targets left - right 5.9gr, 6.1gr, 6.3gr, 6.4gr

(first plate thats 3 bullet holes almost inside each other, 3rd plate same thing)

Then played with some 230gr plated with these
Sum Gy/FD 1911 commander and Colt 1911Gov model

Sum Gy/FD 1911 shot up plate is on the right. Thats 50 rounds in each plate.

Finished loading the rest of the 230gr XTP's. 59grs of N340 1.250 COL

And some blue ones Ellis gave me to try.

Only thing I could load today was one of these

Loaded up a few extra to get the AR pistol sighted in after lunch (depending on the wind), and then a few with a longer COL to try in the AR pistol and my AR rifles.

.224" diameter, 55 grain Xtreme FMJ's, CCI primers, mixed brass, 273.5 grains of CFE223, 2.25" COL

Holy cow, whats the velocity of those, mach 6?
