All I do anymore is just small-batch stuff. Just enough for a range trip. Most times I just grab my Lee Loader kit, or maybe my Lee hand press . . .Really need to get a different press than the old Lee turret I have been running.
I could almost do 100 per hour hand weighing each charge from the powder drop. I love my turret press. The Dillon 750 was expensive as all hell with the conversion kits. The 750 is the devil! I had to justify the purchase by loading bulk. Everything I’ve loaded for the most part is high end jhp ammo. Xtp streak, vcrown, hst, Barnes tac x, civil defense, etc. rifle has been the same with ballistic tips and solid copper. The plan was to load a few k for each caliber. After I’m done I’ll sit back and piddle with casting for cheap range ammo. I kinda want to do shotgun shells next. The sound of a shot dripper is music to my ears. But which press a load all or a mecI can do about a round a minute or slightly better and thats with having to rotate it myself as I'm waiting on parts to fix it. I just think it would just be nice to run 500 rounds or so in a hour or so. Wonder how good the new Lee 6 Pack Pro kit is?
