How did they do, almost ready to start loading .38s
Haven't had a chance to try them yet. Been working. The 110 grain bullets that Dan gave me have been the best so far.

Pretty impressive. How many rounds in hour does it make? Just curious.

Depends on how fast you want to go I guess. I generally do not get in a rush and don't fill the primer tray to capacity, so I get to move around some and stretch --- can do 600 per hour without pushing too terribly hard.... I generally take a leisurely pace and load 500 to 600 per hour - the 5 gallon bucket filled to the top is about 600 .....

Got tired of everyone else's reloading picks so I made up some M1 Garand rounds for the high power rifle season.

I got several items from inline. One of my favorite places to shop for reloading accessories.

It has been nearly 40 years since I loaded 12 ga and .38 special with lead bullets. I loaded up some sub-sonic 12 ga. and 158 grain lrn flat point specials for the up coming cowboy match. Both loads seem to work well. I didn't break out the chronograph but the specials should be around 700 fps but not over 750. Pretty close to a powder puff load. Both were loaded with WST powder. At least I have the ammo covered for the trip to Mendenhal this coming Saturday.

Didn't load today but did unload about 200 rounds of 9x18 Makarov.

Does unloading count?

This morning I swapped 3 buckets of brass for 500 55 gr 24dia Hornady bullets. One is 40 sw, one 38spl.357 mixed and one 223/556 mixed. Looks like I'll be inspecting, prepping cases all week.

Yesterday I decided to take Sum Gy's advice and loaded some Viht N340 for 45 ACP. Gonna try them out soon.

Well...... loaded (loading) over 2+ days.......

Machine Machine tool Auto part Tool accessory

The last of a batch of 300rds of 380 Auto. Loaded with a 95gr FMJ bullet and 3.2gr of W231.

Auto part Machine Automotive engine part Tool accessory Engine

The first of a batch of 500+rds of 38 Special. Loaded with a 142gr BNWC and 3.0gr of Bullseye. I am using Federal primers with this ammo because some of this ammo will be shot in tuned revolvers.

And finally................

Brown Bead Ammunition Orange Metal

This is the Winchester purple brass that Shrek sent me. After a trip through the SS pins the brass comes out a dark gray. A quick glance at this ammo and you would think it is steel case ammo. Loaded with a 165gr plated bullet and 6.0gr of W231.

Also working on a 300rd batch of 45 Auto using all Federal nickel brass.

Forgot to say........ That steel case looking ammo is 40 S&W.

Also, did anyone notice something missing on my Dillon 550 press?

41fan, you actually win double points. I wasn't even thinking of not have a sizing die in the press. This 550 is the BL-550 which is the Basic Loader model. The BL model doesn't come with a priming system or a powder measure. I am running sized and hand primed brass through the press.

The red bin in the lower left of the pictures is attached to my old RL-550 press.

Only loaded two .45 ACP rounds - trying to get the dies set up and wanted to try my new chamber checker. Hand primed about 600 pieces of brass, and only 4 had the small primer pockets. :D
