Haha! Actually had these for a while. I do need to get my hands on some more large rifle primers, though.

Unfortunately, he's stationed at MCAS New River, NC

Of course, buddy of mine wants me to put together at least a thousand 45's for him.

Not loaded today, but a few years ago. 1000rds of 45 Auto fits perfect in a 50cal ammo can.

These have a slight crimp
When does crimp affect accuracy? My first load development 150grain Speer hot core 308. I’ve done all oal off ogive and crimped some and not. I haven’t noticed any change in accuracy so I seated them book oal at that point to work in other firearms. Once I hit the sweet spot on the powder charge accuracy didn’t change until over plus 1 grain of powder also. I’ve also tried different brass and same results rem, hornady, federal, ppu, etc. haven’t tried my lake city bras yet though and I will reduce charge for that one. I’ve fired 150 rounds doing ladder test and like I said no change in accuracy once I got the charge right. Then again farthest I have to shoot is 100 yards

I’m no expert, so can’t really answer. All I know, crimp vs no crimp is as heated a debate as 9 vs 45 or 1911 vs Glock.

Loaded up some more 357 rat shot for a buddy, deprimed and cleaned a bunch of 38 Super and 9mm, full length sized, trimmed, and cleaned (100) pieces of 270 brass.

At the auction today a guy offered me a bucket of brass with a bunch of no fires for $5. It's got a lid on it so I know it's not full, more like half a bucket. I rolled it and looked, lots of aluminum and steel, 9mm brass and 22 no fires. I told him to scrap the aluminum, steel and 9mm brass then come back with a bucket full of what I can use.
400 9mm 124 gr RN over CCI 400 primers and TiteGroup. Almost out of SPP.

Primed (600) pieces of 45 brass, then decided to separate small primer from large primer on some that need cleaning. Ended up with (441) large primer and (117) small primer. Now to figure out where I put all my other small primer 45 brass.

Bas, that’s not the 45 you picked up from me, is it? Thought that was all large primer.

If those are 230gr bullets, I would say your final loading will be either 5.4 or 5.6gr of 231.
