My boy turned 11 today so I played hookie from my essential position and took him to the range. He shot a few msgs from the P22, the .243 and he shot the 700 .308 LTR. Pinged the gong (6” I think) at 100 several times, didn’t miss.

I spent some time this afternoon comparing buckshot patterns between my recently acquired Beretta 1301-T and my old standby Vang Comp 870, the Beretta is not measuring up too favorably...

Went yesterday and got some distance with the tc compass 6.5cm. Took it out to 995 and 1185 had 16 out of 18 at 1185 and went 10 for 10 at 995. Shootin 4x4 steel plates. Magnify the pic to see the targets way in the back past the sweet taters.

Sighted in my precision savage and my budget brush gun

Top two rounds are through savage at 100 yards, one round suppressed then doped scope back to unsuppressed zero. Close enough for me who's not expert at precision stuff.
Left group of 3 is from the budget build suppressed at 100.

Then made sure my budget plinker was still GTG, especially since ammo is like gold now. I'll definitely take that 25 round mag dump with red dot at 25 yards.

Also confirmed zero in my 50th anniversary 10/22 suppressed and shot my Ruger wrangler and cimarron 357 for the first time. Man that cimarron was smooth as butter!

Shot my "new to me" 4-inch barrel pre-lock .357 mag Smith & Wesson model 65, and my 3-inch Ruger GP100, also .357 mag.

Shot the 277 wolverine with 100 gr HP loads and 90 grain gold dot loads. Found a sweet 100 grain load although I think I'll be hard pressed to duplicate it. 3 shot groups because I'm stingy.

Had my S&W model 41 for about 3 months now. Got to finally shoot it today. Put the cross hairs in the center of the 0 & squeezed off 8 rounds at 30yrds with CCI Standard Velocity. Was surprised for the group to be so close to my point of aim. Pistol is way more accurate than I am with poor eyes.

Today I got out my Ruger PC9 Carbine and a old Ruger P89 Pistol, I had a good time shooting both, shot about 150 rounds or so of my mixed reloads thur both with no problems, most guys talk bad about the old heavy ugly P89’s but they will shoot anything you put in them.

I love my old P89DC. That was the second pistol I ever purchased - bought it brand new in 1994(?). I carried that thing for years, in three different states. Sold it to my brother in law who used it for his duty weapon, then bought it back to use as mine. I still have it, just don't carry it anymore.
