Shot 3 of my handguns, AR15, and 300 win mag.

but the kicker was getting to shoot a PTR 91.

a guy had one at the range and let me have a go.

heavier than I expected. Got to ring some steel at 300 yards. Fun!

Yesterday I bought a new-to-me, steel-framed Henry .357/.38 lever action. Took it out on the back pasture and put it through its paces with both .38s and .357s. Worked a treat and laser beam accurate.

I did some research on the rifle and heard that it tended to jam if cycled on its side, so I tried that. In truth, it usually cycled OK on its side, but I did get one jam doing it. This won't be a problem, as I can't think of any applications requiring me to cycle the little rifle sideways!

Also shot my G22 with Advantage Arms .22 conversion and an AK but didn't think they belonged in that photo.

I shot my Marlin 22 mag today. Good news and bad news. After trying several brands of ammo that Joe S. gave to me the CCI pictured put 3 rounds on the same hole. Bad news, it is out of stock everywhere and may be discontinued. I’ll keep trying, it’s good stuff.

No, mine is a 983, but I’m still glad I got it. Would have preferred a 783 but after the range trip I’m happy.
Do you know what the difference is?

Marlin made some fine rifles back then.

Remington R1 was feeling neglected, carried, not fired for > 2 months.
Went to SWGC, ensured that no one was there (w*fe is convinced that if I interact with anyone I AM GOING TO DIE!) so after sending the de rigueur photos of an empty range, I played with the R1 a bit. Draw from the holster, 7 rounds in about what I figger was 2 seconds. First round only hit in lower right lung area, but the remainder are quite OK by my standards.

Two watch heads?
Nope clip-on Suunto compass. Helps when traveling. Espesically in the Steigerwald (Don't ask.) in north central Bavaria. Really Franken, Frankonia, don't tell someone from Frankonia they are Bavarian. But that's whole 'nother issue.
If anyone wants to go off on the tangent of Frankonia vs. Bavaria, which were lumped together by the Amis after 1945, I can go off on that tangent with you. I can do both Fränkisch and Bairisch, just let me know...
