What firearms peak your interest?

Military rifles and handguns, classic sporting rifles, Winchesters, ML rifles and revolvers, pistols, revolvers, .22rf rifles, air pistols and shotguns/

im like most guys i like all guns from a 22 pocket pistol up to the 50 cal sniper rifles i've only seen on tv i think one of those would be awesome to have... but for a list of those that interest me the most i would have to say its the concept more than the gun...
1) pistols revolvers and semi.. because of the whole self defence and personal protection concept..(you feel good knowing if you ever need to use it its sitting right there on your night stand)
2)high power'd rifles (i would guess that its any guys dream to know he could drop a deer at 1000 yards if he wanted to.. kind of and eliteizm type of feeling almost? b'coz not everyone can do it..(me of course never tried and couldn't aford one of those guns anyways
) i could only imagine how military snipers feel when they make a sucessful shot and finish a job they set out to do.)
3) over and under shot guns.. or the clay target guns ( i guess again its the concept that impresses me being able to hit them flying accross the sky would be a great skill if we ever had to start hunting all our own food again.)

I'm a pistol and "battle rifle" kinda guy. I loathe M16/AR15/M4 based weapons, but love the old Garands and mini 14's.
Right now, I'm lusting after a Remington 7400 .30-06 semi auto...
There was one for less than $200 at Gold 'N Guns on Hwy 51 last week, but I didn't have money when I handled it, and didn't know enough about it.... Come to find out, even one from it's era (1970's) retails for over $400
I'm really kicking myself for not borrowing money from my buddy who was with me to buy it. I called about it today and was told it's already been sold. I'll probably never have another opportunity like that again

·Single shot rifles do for me. Sharps, Winchester, Martini, Remington, Steven's or whatever in any caliber. I especially like 22 lr. I have a Sportco Martini that was converted from 310 to 22 by Jack Warne back in the 60s. Man what a tack driver. My deer rifle this year was a C. Daly Little Sharps in 45 Colt. What a fun gun to shoot.
I have a Uberti Rolling Block in 22 Hornet that I would like to rebarrel with a longer barrel in 25-20. I've been thinking on this for several years...I guess I need to get moving on it. Now that hunting season is over I need to call Mr Duckworth or Mr Johnson and see if either is interested in doing it for me.

yeah we saw it. that's probably most of us around here.
I prefer Handguns (Glocks) I hope to have one of each one of these days.
Second, I guess would be Long-Range Rifles.
Military stuff is ok, but just not my cup of tea.
Oh yeah nearly forgot, I have taken an interest in "Race Guns" for competition. I will probably never own one, but they are really nice IMO. STI are my favorite I think.
Wish for a Barret .50 one day when I hit the Lottery.

Who wrote a song about me? Lol I like them all. Really like pistols, I guess coming from shooting uspsa, icore, steel. I like shooting them and fast.
I'm just getting into reloading rifles so I'll be shooting a lot more rifle stuff. Shooting my m1 love that piece of history.
If it goes bang I'm all over it.

I love the old school full power house 7.62 battle rifles M14, G3, FAL, CETME. Then comes the M16A4, M4A1, Beryl, Galil, AK47, AK74, G36, AR180, Daewoo K2 and AUG. I also like the newer bullpups like the P90, FS 2000, TAR-21, SAR-21, and L85A1. Here lately I've started collecting C&R rifles.

I've only had pistols so far. I owned an old Mossberg 500 shotgun that I had since I was 14 but had not shot it in more than 30 years so I sold it.
I love shooting my pistols but I can't find the time these days. Nor can I afford to shoot them.
I hope to get into some type of rifles some day but that will have to wait.
If it goes BANG then I want to shoot it.
I did get to shoot a full auto Thompson and a full auto AK47 at the Metro Police Training Academy. That was fun but just didn't get to shoot it much.

Never met a gun I didn't like or want... First for me is anything with Walther stamped on it, love bolt action rifles, then battle rifles and finally handguns. It's a day to day thing for me. It really depends on what mood I'm in and I'm always in the mood to shoot something. :machinegun:

I like 1911s , SD shottys, vintage U.S. battle rifles ( im not too fond of ARs or AKs) and thats about it since I dont hunt I'm more interested in the SD/combat aspect but I like it tasteful and not plastic or "tacticool" except for shotguns, I like the heatshields and lights and crap for some odd reason but I dont like that stuff on anything else
