I got a Tarus Tracker 357mag 6 1/2 rib barrel ported. what grain would ya'll reccomend for deer hunting.

Winchester makes a 180 grain. Hornady makes the LeveRevolution ammo in 357. Try them and see which you like the best. (IF you can find them)

A deer hunting 357 round is an intresting idea. With the 180 grain would you be favoring basically a heavier bullet in general?

Anything 158 and above ...158 is what im going to use.

Choice #2 - LeveRevolution if I were gonna hunt with it.

Choice #1 - Corbon Hunter series in 180 or 200 grain for 357 Mag

Choice #3 - I'm also kinda partial to Barnes X-bullets....Corbon uses them in their DPX line....they penetrate a little more and expand well. I think they only make it in a 125 gr though...You may consider that too light.
