Cheapest I would spend my money on would be the base model ruger. Saw one a day or two ago for $450ish.
Check slickguns.com to keep up with what's cheapest.

Rig's right, PSA has the best prices right now. I went a little different with my new one PSA upper and lower and a BCG from AIM and built mine for $380 with transfer fee.

I would pass on a ruger ar......I had (sr 556,piston driven, take down) one that had a schit chamber cut in the barrel and I had to send it back twice for them to fix it. It would leave lines in the neck of the brass....ruining the case. Big no no for me.
    PSA gets my vote.

Not sure of brand, but my local mechanic buddy, not Ellis, just got one made in Huntsville, AL for $340. No review yet, but it looks nice.

I like my PSA's, haven't put a ton of ammo through them yet but so far they have been 100%

Another Vote for Palmetto State Armory.

I'd pick out what I want, & Wait for it to go on Sale.

Don't think the AR15 market has hit Rock Bottom, yet...

Black Friday & End of the Year Sales should be interesting.

Yeah I wish I'd have sold everything I own. I could buy twice as much right now.

I can vouch for PSA also. I have bought many of their products and have never been disappointed. You can't beat it for the price IMO.

PSA has their PTAC kit for $330 with free shipping. Cowart's in Pearl had some polymer lowers for $30+tax. That would total about $365.
