I kid, I kid. I owned (past tense) a Glock 27 as my first Glock. Like everyone, I'd heard the stories of their epic reliability. Alas, not so. Mine wouldn't fire more than a few rounds before it jammed. Turned out that the prior owner had attempted to incorrectly reassemble it, and the trigger bar was bent. New trigger bar was put in, but I sold it-never trusted it for carry.
I had a G 19, and it was very reliable, but I didn't care for the way the Gen 3 finger grooves hit my hand, so I traded it for an XD9sc (see my thread about doing a trigger job on that one).
Now all that's left is the G17, and it's here to stay. Reliable, the original platform that Gaston Glock designed, and what else? Oh yeah, reliable. I'm not nearly as accurate with it as with my 1911s, but I can hit a head size target across the room. Seventeen times.
