what is the most versatile handgun caliber in your opinion?

A. It's hot enough for long distance and energy is great
B. You can load down to that of a light 40 if need be
C. It's primarily a pistol round and not revolver (more capacity)

But the 45 is still my favorite... maybe not as versatile. However, after reading slabside's post I guess it IS!
Dunno about 10mm round itself, but a 10mm Glock is the most versatile Glock. 5 different barrel swaps (only .38 super requires mag modification) and 3 slide + mag swaps for a total of 8!!!
