First 2 are #6...don't want to over penetrate a wall by accident and kill a loved one in the next room...next 2 go #4 and then 00.

Yeah we've bought into the slug and 00 buck deal...
folks really...7.5's and 6's really will get the job done...safer as well for others...
Go pattern your gun and shoot a few water jugs at home defense ranges and see if you are not still impressed..
and G1D is right...need a reload handy as well...I keep the side saddle stocked...10 shots before the 870 goes dry
