that is a goodun, capt I have been to lake ross barnett down in mize and caught a few monster bream down there. lake record is 3+lbs I believe. caught a few1.5-2lbers myself

How much did that one weigh?
Biggest one ive seen in person weighed in at 2.25, came out of a small pond on our property using a seine net.

You ain't kiddin. Like catching a tarpon or sailfish. When I lived in Duck Hill, I'd got to the gravel pits at Tillatoba and spend all day catching big brim on ultralights. What a blast!

Guys, I've been traveling a ton, so I haven't been in the office much.

Yeah, that's me! I caught that goggle eye last year in the Atchafalaya Basin over in Louisiana. A buddy of mine and I were actually scouting for a bass tournament and we eased into a canal that was chock-a-block full of monster goggle eye. We caught about 60 of them on bass tackle - and they were all huge. We sort of forgot about bass fishing, but had a BLAST!

We used to tear 'em up at Lakeview lake in Clinton when I was a kid but I don't know if we caught any that big, that's a dandy!
