I bought a Ruger mark IV 22/45 lite a few weeks ago. I've been to several stores
in Jackson/Brandon/Pearl and have found very few accessories.
I can order online but was hoping somewhere local had some things.
    Any suggestions on local stores?
    Items like:
    compensators
    trigger kits
    red dot scope dovetail mount
    magazine loaders
    dueling tree

Most dealers won't have most of those specialty items in stock, as the have few calls for them; but they should be able to get them for you quickly.

For a well-made dueling tree, contact phillipd on this site.

The MkIV, especially the 22/45 model is still pretty new(about a year now), and even the MkIII was hard to find that stuff for locally and it’s been around forever.

So yeah, you’re going to have to order most of it.

Jackson area has always been mail order capitol. At least for the last 50 years?

Don't know where you located, but, thought I saw Phillip post he was going to be making road trip/deliveries very soon. Might want to get in contact today if possible.

Amazon has (or did have) best price on that dovetail mount.

I have their "Gamechanger" compensator and find it really hard to clean. Maybe their new Pro model is easier, but more expensive.

Thanks for the tip. The gamechanger is what I was looking at, I'm not crazy about the looks of the pro model

There's a gun show in Jackson this weekend, but I seriously doubt that you would find any of the stuff you seek there. Plenty of black plastic handguns and some camo clothing and stuff if it's like most shows.

There's usually a guy that has Ruger 10/22 parts at the gunshows, he might have pistol parts.

Clean it as best you can and spray some Dillon case lube on it to make it much easier. In a pinch I’ve also used Pam cooking spray

I tried the Pam trick and soaked it in Coke. Still had to scrape deposits out with a blade. Will try the Dillon if I use it again, thanks for tip. Didn't really notice much difference in muzzle rise with it anyway, and didn't help transitions in steel challenge, so don't use it anymore.

Apologies to OP for thread hijack.
