I know that Shilen has a good reputation, but how about the other brands and how would you rate them?
Example; 1st choice for quality, 2nd choice, 3rd choice
1st choice for value; which for just target guns and which would make all around guns, target and hunting.
1st choice in finishes, I am leaning towards stainless. Thanks, Mike

Lothar Walther, Shilen, McGowen Precision makes some fairly good barrels,Broughton, lilja. I think barrel choice will vary about as much as peoples opinons on guns..
