I see alot of people shooting the rusty kimbers and alot with the Savages so yall talk me into one? The savage is easier to get and bout half the price.

The f-class looks like a ton of fun.

Is anyone going to CMP South anytime soon?

I vote Kimber! I just wish we could afford one. I wish someone was going like today or tomorrow. Miss Hammer needs an air rifle from them and they are about 30-45 days back logged on orders right now from what i here so only way we may could get it before Saturday is to actually go to the store and bring it home.

Check the scores for the last match. I believe your decision will be fairly easy.
This was the only CLEAN target from the last match -- Savage TR used by suberjc!!

An exception. Average out the scores and see who's on top. :p

Just wait until we move the matches to the Center Range -- the wind will become a REAL issue .... showing that the shooter is the most important part of the system!! ... but a good rifle and ammo is certainly needed if you want to be on the leader board ...

Well ah I'll tell ya. I like the Kimbers and I like the Savages. If I had it to do over I'd probably get the Kimber because 400.00 is 75 less than 475.00 the last time I looked. Really doesn't matter though cause neither gun, especially not a black gun, is gonna shoot real well if the stupid guy who's shooting it leaves it in the sun between the second and third string. Really dumb Suber :idk:

First of all...its still the person pulling the trigger...

I'd say either gun would be fine....

I'd trade my Kimber for an old style 40-X like Sungunfan has any day

Gotta have at least 24X optics to if you wanna be in the game....

Good ammo is a must as well.....ammo selection really does matter a great deal

Well, I am pretty sure I can't outshoot a 10-22. My brother got a carbine in like 1972 and has abused it for going on 40 years and it still works like a charm. I should have bought one years ago.

I was waffling between a 10-22 and a savage mk2. Then I found this target model for a good price at the Natchez Gun Show. So it made my mind up.
