Just look at the group buy thread and see how many Wolf are ordered as compared to all the other brands ....

I assumed that was for the price, not necessarily the extraordinary value.

I do know that Wolf S P primers are too hard for a tuned revolver. All other loadings have worked great.

Now if you are asking if Wolf primers are "match grade"...? I doubt it.

.
I've been reading about them on the forum at accurateshooter.com. They are giving great reviews on extremely low velocity deviations. Alot of those folks are comparing them to Rem BR's. It will be worth a try anyway.

I have some Wolf Large Rifle to try...just aint had time to work up a new load with em...some swear by the CCI and Federal Match primers in F class...I don't know if its true or not...Its very competitive and everyone is trying to squeeze out every last point....It might be all in our head.

I seem to recall a famous baseball player that said..."90% of the game is half mental"

while I'll stick with Federal and CCI BR when I can get em for F class centerfire, I would not hesitate to use em for bulk pistol

In general, finding the primers you want at a decent price is still more involved than it needs to be...Thank God I'm sitting on a few...They are totally outrageous

I've been using the Tula primers which are basically the same as the Wolf primers from what I understand and they have performed flawlessly so far. I have not loaded any large rifle cases yet but I've loaded them in the small pistol, small rifle, and large pistol.

Ive loaded thousands of them in 40 and never had a problem. Ive had a couple cci and rem primers that didnt go pop, havent had a wolf do that yet.
I have used the wolf 223 primers that have the harder cup for the AR type rifles, loaded some 115gr smk and h322 in my 6.8. I was able to get it to group under an inch but no tighter than .75. I was suprised. I worked up a load for my buddys 308 and got it to do .8" groups with wolf primers so they are decent enough for blasting ammo :)
