JJacobs and I finished this one up last night. It's Duracoat in woodland green, tan, brown, and matte black. It's also finished in a matte clear coat for added protection

Is that the stickers you put on one? That looks pretty good and if that's stickers, the clear coat should help them stay on. Good Job.

The bipod is Duracoat as well. We just used matte black on it. JJacobs tried to talk me into using tan or green on it. Kind of wish I'd listened to him now

Crazy, it is duracoat, Caleb C and I are in the business of painting and refinishing guns with duracoat. We would be happen to give u a price on what ever work u may want done. On another note, if u want to do it urself, we could answer any questions u may have.

I just refinished my first gun this week and enjoyed doing it. I'm looking to try duracoating myself. Where is a good source for supplies.

Lauer Custom Weaponry has almost anything that you may need to do the job. A word to the wise: The camo packs may seem appealing considering you can get every thing that you "need" to do it yourself. These packs don't take into account some of the prep work that is necessary to produce the best finished product. The quality of your finished product is in the prep work. We've discovered through many mistakes that proper disassembly and degreasing are absolutely VITAL. A good clean source of regulated air is also very important. Stay away from the "canned air" that some of the suppliers will try to sell you. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact JJacobs or me directly.

You may also find that if you don't intend to do several guns it may be cheaper to have someone who is already properly equipped do the work for you. (Shameless marketing on my part.)
